About Us
Hi! Our names are Charlene and Kate and we are the owners/directors of The Little Kids’ Corner. We met while working at a daycare center from 2010 to 2017, where we discovered our passion for early childhood education across various age groups. We thrived in that supportive community, surrounded by amazing families and staff. After leaving the daycare setting, we pursued our degrees—Charlene in Middle School English and Katelyn in PreK-4th grade and Special Education—working in different schools throughout Delaware and Philadelphia counties. However, we always felt a pull back to our early childhood roots. At The Little Kids’ Corner, we are excited to work with our favorite age groups and support children as they learn through play and guided lessons. We are committed to creating an inclusive learning environment for all.
